Touchmedia Dominates Guangzhou in-Taxi Media with Great Partners

SHANGHAI, Sept. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Touchmedia recently announced signing with Guang Jun Group, one of the foremost taxi fleets in Guangzhou. Touchmedia Executive Director and Co Chief Executive Officer Bernie Auyang noted that, "We are delighted to formally partner with Guang Jun, whose yellow taxi is one of the most recognizable taxi brands in the south. Mr Auyang, Touchmedia Executive Director and Co Chief Executive Officer, Lin Wei Ping, Guang Jun Board Chairman, Huang Han Guang, Guang Jun secretary of the Party committee and Mo Yang, Touchmedia VP and GM of Southern China, attended the Co-operation Signing Ceremony at the Guangzhou Sheraton Hotel.

Lin Wei Ping, Guang Jun Board Chairman said, "Guang Jun has joined hands with Touchmedia to install interactive screens in taxis, so as to present a better interactive platform and to provide consumers with food, beverage, shopping, entertainment, travel, culture and other information for life in Guangzhou. It will also enrich Guang Jun's star service content and provide our passengers with a more modern, professional and efficient service, commensurate with Guang Jun's service principles."

These taxis will have the latest Generation 4.1 interactive screens installed with more sensitive touch and faster system response. The aim is to complete installation before the end of the year. When asked about further developments, Mr Auyang commented, "Touchmedia is expanding its footprint in both existing cities and in new markets, driven by client demand.  We are working on agreements in a number of new second tier markets and these will be announced successively over the next 12 months."
