The Christmas Set Dinner at Temptations Senses is featuring a classic noble French dish -- Pan-Fried Foie Gras. The chef has to be very cautious about the heat control when pan-frying the foie gras to preserve its rich and creamy texture.
Seared Lobster, Scallops and Silver Cod is one of the main courses of the Christmas Set dinner at Temptations Senses. The chef specially selects the whole king scallops from Japan's Hokkaido and fresh Silver Cod, to pair with the Australian lobster fillet. The seafood is slightly seasoned by sea salt and pepper before grill in order to bring out the authentic flavour and freshness.
To echo the festive colors of Christmas, the chef has tailor-made a Baked Strawberry Alaska for the sweet tooth. Baked Alaska is an ice-cream centre surrounded by a snowy mountain-like meringue made with sugar and egg white. The waiter will serve the dessert in front of the guests and then pour the flaming rum sauce onto the meringue. The meringue will be 'on fire' for a few seconds. When the fire dies down, the guests can enjoy a mixture of warm meringue with a hint of rum in the surface with the cold and sweet ice-cream and fruits inside.
