SEOUL, South Korea, Feb. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- As a globalized logistics business operating 164 global networks, Pantos Logistics has opened ePantos, a new-concept global delivery service, under an agreement with eBay Korea for joint operation.

The new delivery service is expected to put eBay-related businesses in a more advantageous position with shorter deliver time and less expenses.

Compared to Express Mail Service (EMS), the new service provided by ePantos will offer up to 50% lower transportation charges. The new service is expected to be welcomed particularly by businesses selling small-sized goods in large quantities such as clothing, footwear, accessories, and small-sized household appliances.

At present, the ePantos service is provided in 11 countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia, but it will be expanded to more countries across the globe. ePantos is accompanied by goods tracing service.

Commenting on the new service, a Pantos Logistics official noted that, for small-sized businesses operating in the rapidly growing globalized e-commerce market, international delivery is a decisive factor in their efforts for the exploration of wider overseas markets. "We will focus on that point and do our best to help enhance e-commerce businesses' competitiveness by providing high-quality logistics service," said the official.
