HONG KONG, April 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Your last chance to enter the world-wide action and adventure sports photography exhibition contest is rapidly approaching – all submissions must be uploaded to redbullillume.com by April 30th. While thousands of images have already been submitted, the dedicated mission of the Red Bull Illume Image Quest is to leave no incredible image behind – so get your submissions in while you can!
The contest consists of 10 categories: lifestyle, playground, energy, spirit, close up, wings, sequence, new creativity, experimental and illumination. Photographers can enter as many as 5 images in each of the 10 categories so there's no limit to the range of inspirational shots that can be entered. The only qualification? Your images need to be amazing. Whether you’re a published pro or an aspiring amateur, now is the time to enter the Red Bull Illume Image Quest.
The images are judged by an international panel of 50 photo editors from prominent publications whose task is to select the 50 best shots, including 10 category winners and one overall winner. All winners will be unveiled in a grand ceremony in Hong Kong in August 2013. With its iconic skyline and burgeoning cultural scene, the buzzing city offers the perfect backdrop and starting point for the first exhibition — and gives even more incentive to take part! The top 50 images will then travel around the world's capitals and metropolitan hubs as a unique and stand-alone night-time photo exhibition.
