New website coincides with the introduction of an accelerated Flexible Executive MBA designed to help executives in the region earn the qualification in less time

HONG KONG, July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its strategy to meet growing demand for post-graduate level education in Asia, Henley Business School is pleased to announce today the launch of a dedicated website for executives in Hong Kong and the region who are interested in advancing their professional careers by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

With content tailored specifically to the Asia market, the new website (http://www.henley.asia) is designed to help prospective applicants navigate the path to achieving a Henley business qualification which includes the opportunity to enroll in the school's recently remodelled, accelerated Flexible Executive Master of Business Administration programme.

According to Mr. Neil Logan, Director - Asia Pacific for Henley Business School, the accelerated Flexible Executive MBA is structured to serve busy executives in the Asian region by providing them with the means to attain the professional qualification in just two years of part-time study.

"The Flexible Executive MBA is open to business executives who have a minimum of three years management experience, plus a suitable first degree or equivalent professional qualification. Candidates will visit the United Kingdom for a residential starter course, attend a mixture of a series of eight weekend workshops in Hong Kong within 24 months, before completing their studies with a Management Challenge dissertation or integrated business project."

Mr. Logan comments that what differentiates the Henley Flexible Executive MBA from other programmes is its ability to help students see the holistic side of business whilst examining their own companies and resolving real-life challenges. Presented in integrated stages, candidates work through modules that include: Leadership and Personal Development; Managing People; Managing Processes and Systems; Managing Financial Resources; Strategic Marketing; International Business Strategy; Managing Reputation and Responsibility; Leadership and Change.

As part of the course, participants also have the unique opportunity to attend workshops in international locations including Finland, Germany, Ireland, Malta, Scandinavia, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. Continues Mr. Logan, "This equips students with a greater understanding of different working environments and cultures, broadening the scope of their studies by preparing them for global business through international exchange."

With regards to the benefits, Mr. Logan expresses that attaining a Henley Flexible Executive MBA qualification offers the added advantage of assisting business executives in Asia to take their careers to the next level by equipping them with new leadership skills and practical experience, plus a well-respected and widely-recognized qualification that improves their prospects and positions them to scale the career ladder.

He remarks, "Given the vibrant economic conditions in Asia, the demand for inspiring leaders is very strong and growing continuously. Emerging markets in particular are fuelling demand growth for MBAs, but it is no longer enough just to add those three letters after your name. Business leaders need to gain a qualification with real meaning and impact. The Henley Flexible Executive MBA is such a programme.  In fact, the demand for talented decision makers is partly reflected by the fact that we alone have witnessed a marked increase in enrollments for our original Henley Programme of approximately 20% in the last two years."

Due to commence in October 2013, prospective applicants who are interested in learning more about the accelerated Flexible Executive MBA are invited to attend a free introductory seminar scheduled to take place between 7.00p.m. and 8.00p.m. on Tuesday 30th July 2013 at Henley Business School's Hong Kong office located at 2501 Tai Tung Building, 8 Fleming Road, Wanchai.

Alternatively, interested parties can visit Henley Business School's new Asia website (http://www.henley.asia) for further details regarding the programme structure, admission requirements, application procedures and associated tuition fees.

A particular highlight of the new portal is a collection of video testimonials by recent Henley Business School graduates narrating their journey and experiences of how the programme has enriched and enhanced their work life, whilst serving as a powerful learning experience that has enabled them to grow both professionally and personally.

"The rationale behind introducing an accelerated Flexible Executive MBA programme is largely due to the school's desire to make management education more accessible and manageable to those who wish to work full time and obtain an MBA degree," concludes Mr. Logan.
