GUANGZHOU, China, June 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Retail Solutions Inc. (RSi), a global provider of cloud-based, Big Data analytics and real-time intelligence for the consumer-products industry, today announced that David Sun, Managing Director of RSi Asia will share collaboration execution best practices as a presenter at the 12th Annual Efficient Consumer Response (ECR) China Conference taking place June 10-12 in Guangzhou China.

Mr. Sun will participate in two sessions during the event. The first, Parallel Session Two panel, "Consumer Demand and Innovation," Mr. Sun will be joined by Pinyou, a leading Internet advertising technology company in China to discuss new item digital acceleration programs that leverage daily downstream data combined with hyper-local digital information and assets to optimize new item consumer demand by individual store. With this newfound intelligence, manufacturers and retailers can better collaborate to accelerate new item sales as fast as possible in each store; drive awareness and sales for in-store promotions; manage store-level inventory issues; and maintain critical sales rates in priority stores.

Supporting the ECR organizational mission of working together to fulfill consumer wishes better, faster and at less cost, Mr. Sun will be joined by executives from Wal-Mart and Kimberly-Clark during Parallel Session Supply Chain Optimization. Here, executives from Kimberly-Clark will share elements of its award-winning collaboration program with Wal-Mart, leveraging technology from RSi. Attendees will learn why ECR China awarded Wal-Mart, Kimberly-Clark and RSi the Platinum Award for its positive results and explore the following key topics:

How to build trust and work together toward the common goal of improving supply chain efficiency;

How to increase logistic efficiencies, reduce excess inventory and drive down overall costs by encouraging collaboration and daily data sharing with trading partners; and

How to reduce out-of-stocks and increase on-shelf availability.
