Big data (2015/08/06 13:00-14:15)
Big data analytics from the Internet provide people with a good reference for investment and marketing. In the retail industry, taking advantage of big data could help companies better understand customer behavior, boost their shopping experience and even provide tailor-made solutions.
The "Implementation of Big Data in Retail" seminar will be supported by the "Sales and Marketing" journal, the first large-scaled professional marketing publication in mainland China. The first speaker Dr. Ruirui Wang of marketing investigation in Grenoble Ecole de Management, France, will offer a lecture on the establishment of a trinity system, referring to an overall mechanism to manage customers, store and mail information. Dr. Wang, who has over 20 years' experience in marketing research, will introduce a variety of measures to refine monitoring people flows and improve the operational efficiency of retailers.
The second speaker is Dr. Song Wang, vice president of France Telecom (Beijing) Company, who served international and domestic telecom operators and has 16 years' experience in product quality control and innovative product management. He will talk about an intelligent interactive system to capture customer information, tools to track consumer behavior and commercial application of big data. The seminar will be held from 1pm to 2:15pm on August 6.
Social media (2015/08/07 13:00-14:15)
The rise of new media, especially WeChat, offers a new channel for retailers to market their products. However, lack of trademarkprotection, plagiarism and vicious competition also threaten the healthy development of the whole industry.
In order to keep exhibitors abreast of the latest development of the new media channels, organizers will invite WeChat business veterans to discuss how to create a sound business via WeChat and how to leverage Internet-based marketing to promote products. The seminar will be held between 1pm and 3:20pm on August 7.
Rich choice of activities
Apart from seminars, there will also be a series of activities at the fair. Visitors can enjoy themselves at exhibition halls and the modern home display room, which showcase premium products with high quality, modern design and advanced technology.
Every day, the fair will feature four partnering sessions, where international buyers can meet suppliers with first-class houseware products and business solutions. Also, pre-registration will allow visitors to have the chance to win prizes including an iPad mini in the raffle sessions.
