BEIJING, Feb. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Asia Clean Capital ("ACC") today announced a distributed rooftop solar power supply agreement with Nanjing Fujitsu Computer Electronic Information Co., Ltd ("Nanjing Fujitsu") at the Fujitsu production base located in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. Under the terms of the Agreement, ACC will invest 100 percent of the system cost and will undertake the design, construction, and long-term system maintenance.
Electricity from the solar system will be provided to Nanjing Fujitsu at below-grid rates to ensure operational savings throughout the lifetime of the system.
In addition to monetary savings, the rooftop solar system will assist in achieving sustainability goals. Over its lifetime, the system will save approximately 11,036 tons of CO2, or the equivalent of 6.23-million liters of gasoline.
Fujitsu is one of the largest IT services providers in the world and has been named by Fortune as one of the world's most admired companies and a Global 500 company. The initial cooperation between Fujitsu and ACC on Nanjing project will serve as a demonstration to encourage expansion of clean energy technology to Fujitsu's other facilities.
