HONG KONG, March 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ACE Life Insurance Company Ltd. (Incorporated in Bermuda with Limited Liability) ("ACE Life in Hong Kong"), part of the ACE Group of Companies, announced today its appointment of Allan Lam as the Country President, replacing Anthony Mak who will be retiring in late March. Mr. Lam will spearhead development and operations of ACE Life in Hong Kong, formulate corporate strategy and lead new business expansion to ensure sustainable growth in the local market. He will report to Kevin Goulding, Regional President, ACE Life in Asia Pacific.
Mr. Lam brings to ACE Life more than 18 years of insurance experience in Asia. His most recent role was CEO/ Country Manager, China, and Senior Vice President for Business Development, Southeast Asia with an international insurer. Prior to this post, Mr. Lam also held senior management roles at various leading global life insurers in Hong Kong and China.

Mr. Lam is a graduate of Humber Institute of Technology, Ontario, Canada, and holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
