HONG KONG, Dec. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ACE Life Insurance Company Ltd. (Incorporated in Bermuda with Limited Liability) and ACE Insurance Limited (collaboratively "ACE in Hong Kong"), both part of the ACE Group of Companies successfully co-organized two philanthropic activities for the second annual regional 'Day of Service' of ACE in Asia Pacific. More than 60 employees from ACE in Hong Kong participated in this active volunteerism initiative.
In line with ACE over-arching philanthropic theme of 'Going Green / Conservation / Recycling' or 'Education / Health and Support of the underprivileged children or the elderly', Hong Kong employees engaged in a beach cleanup in Shek O on 8 November. In addition, ACE in Hong Kong organized a farm outing with 60 visually impaired students from Ebenezer School on 15 November at Tai Tong Farm in Yuen Long. This outing allowed both the students and volunteers to enjoy the green environment and appreciate the lush greenery by exploring nature and interacting with the animals.
