Airport City Development Embraces New Era of Air Cargo Transport

BEIJING, Nov. 26, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- According to a joint statement by Beijing Tianzhu Free Trade Zone, Beijing Customs, Beijing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and Beijing Port Office today, the Beijing Tianzhu Free Trade Zone Port Operational Center developed and run by Airport City Development (ACL) is prepared for daily operation. Beijing Capital International Airport Cargo Inspection and Examination Department and Beijing Capital International Airport Customs and Beijing Capital International Airport Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau will relocate offices to new locations. Details are as follows:

  1. Beijing Capital International Airport Cargo Inspection and Examination Authority, Air China and BGS first-class supervised warehouse will relocate offices to the Beijing Tianzhu Free Trade Zone Port Operational Center; Beijing Capital International Airport Customs and Beijing Capital International Airport Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau will relocate offices to the ACLP International Building (566 Shunping Road, Shunyi District). The above two locations will be officially operational on 20 December 2010, when Beijing Capital International Airport Customs and Beijing Capital International Airport Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau will start processing all import/export customs declarations, and inspection and quarantine facilities will begin operation at their respective new locations. The transfer of all procedures concerning the import/export of goods will be completed within a month. The existing cargo inspection and quarantine area in western Beijing Capital International Airport will cease operations as of 20 January 2011.
  2. Any enterprise operating at the Port Operational Center is required to complete filing and registration procedures and relevant applications for vehicle entrance permits at the reception office of Beijing Tianzhu Free Trade Zone Management Committee.
  3. Beijing Capital International Airport Customs and Beijing Capital International Airport Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau will start accepting applications for registration as well as for record filing and changes as of the date of this announcement.

ACLP International Building

ACLP International Building is a premier commercial office building developed and constructed by Airport City Development Co., Ltd., located along Shunping Road with the city's Green Belt to the north and Beijing Tianzhu Free Trade Zone to the west. It includes the ACLP international main building to the south, port administrative information office building to the north and services building to the west.
