'A Greener Asia' Debuts on the 'Bloomberg Live' Program

NEW YORK, Sept. 5 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Starting tomorrow on the BLOOMBERG TELEVISION(R) program "Bloomberg Live," anchor Bernard Lo will host a new regular segment, "A Greener Asia." With in-depth reports and exclusive interviews from Bloomberg news bureaus across the region, "A Greener Asia" will look at how businesses and governments in Asia are responding to environmental challenges.

The new BLOOMBERG TELEVISION segment will explore such topics as China's battle with pollution in the lead up to the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and "Green Funds" - investment vehicles specializing in renewable energy and other environmental business initiatives.

"A Greener Asia" will debut Thursday, September 6th on "Bloomberg Live" at 7:40am Hong Kong/Singapore, 8:40am Tokyo and 9:40am Sydney.
