Since its establishment, Brose Changchun has grown rapidly. In 2015, the plant generated approximately 2.5 billion RMB in turnover. This represents a significant, sevenfold increase in comparison to 2006. The Brose plant covers the company's entire range of products, including door systems, seat systems, cooling fan modules and closure systems. Its customers include FAW-Volkswagen, BMW, Toyota, Nissan, Great Wall and other renowned car manufacturers in China and abroad.

"A reliable partner is the key element for our substantial development in the future. We highly appreciate the outstanding performance, the high quality products as well as the on-schedule delivery. We hope the cooperation with Brose Changchun will continue to gain a prosperous future," said Andreas Schuster-Woldan, Vice President Purchasing and Quality Management BMW Brilliance, during the event.

In order to meet customer demand in the Chinese market, Brose expanded its Changchun factory in early 2016 by 3,500 square meters. The new capacities will mainly be used for seat production for BMW and Volvo. "Our decision to steadily expand our production in Changchun was encouraged by the reliable and cost-effective production and the employees' expertise and loyalty," explained Spangler.

Brose Changchun has won recognition from customers many times owing to its relentless pursuit of excellence in quality and service. Just in 2015, the plant was honored with several awards, including "A-Class Supplier" and "Excellent Spare Parts Supplier" from FAW-Volkswagen. "Our outstanding performance was only possible because of the long-term support from the local government and our customers along with our employees' dedication," said Yin Shixian, General Manager Brose Changchun.

In the future, Brose Changchun will continue to develop local suppliers' manufacturing capacity to implement operations for processes ranging from parts assembly, stamping and injection molding, to relevant core parts and components production. The plant's focus will remain on providing customized, cost effective and high value-added products to its customers.
