HONG KONG, Aug. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bureau Veritas has announced the opening of its latest wireless/smartworld lab in Shenzhen, China. Representatives from the industry and government were invited to participate in a technical seminar and witness the opening ceremony. Afterwards, a guided tour of the test laboratory was conducted to reveal one of the most advanced and comprehensive wireless/smartworld labs in China.
With 7 out of the top 10 global smartphone brands* being Chinese, Shenzhen being one of China's 3 technology hubs and one of China's Smart Cities, Bureau Veritas' latest wireless/smartworld lab is ideally located to support their ambitious growth plans. Additionally, the world continues to become smarter with the number of products and applications relying on wireless communications technologies growing at an ever increasing pace.
The new location leverages Bureau Veritas', including 7layers, strengths and will provide clients in China with regulatory, performance and conformance testing/certification as well as engineering and consulting services that are increasingly needed in today's smartworld.
