CAAS Regains Nasdaq Compliance

HUBEI PROVINCE, China, July 29, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Automotive Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CAAS) ("CAAS" or the "Company"), a leading power steering components and systems supplier in China, today announced that it has regained full compliance for continued listing on the Nasdaq Stock Market ("Nasdaq"). CAAS received a letter on July 26, 2011 from Nasdaq notifying the Company that with the July 22, 2011 filing of the Company's Form 10-Q for the period ended March 31, 2011, Nasdaq has determined that the Company complies with Listing Rule 5250(c)(1), which requires the timely filing of SEC periodic reports.
