HONG KONG, Oct. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CIFM Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited ("CIFM (HK)" or "the Company"), a subsidiary of China International Fund Management Co., Ltd. ("CIFM") today announces that Anthony Ho has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer for Hong Kong and overseas businesses. CIFM is a joint venture between J.P. Morgan Asset Management (UK) Ltd and Shanghai International Trust & Investment Co., Ltd. Anthony will provide leadership on managing the Hong Kong office and will drive the international strategy and expansion. He replaces Hank Chen, who has assumed the Chief Operating Officer position, a newly created role as the company continues to expand its international operations. Hank reports to Anthony.
Anthony is a 20-year veteran in the asset management industry and he has extensive global experience on investment, research and business management. Prior to this appointment, he has held a number of senior positions including Managing Director in the Global Multi-Asset Group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management; Managing Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer at China Asset Management (Hong Kong); Head of Asian Institutional Investment and Head of Asian Research at Fidelity.
