HONG KONG, April 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DKSH's Business Line Gourmet Fine Foods (previously named Food Services and Hotel Supplies) stages the annual Cafe DKSH event in Hong Kong on April 28, 2015, showcasing the colorful creations of reputable chefs drawing inspirations from master art pieces and featuring the latest product ranges carried by DKSH from Vivy, CARMA, Cacao Barry, Dawn and Elle & Vire.

Cafe DKSH is a signature gourmet event organized by DKSH annually in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau. It provides a platform for chefs to gather and share new ideas and insights for pastry creations. This year, over two hundred chefs from Hong Kong and Macau are immersed in a colorful world resembling an art gallery visit. During the event, all participants are using colored chocolate to create chocolate splatter paintings.

Inspired by the art pieces, Letizia Grella from CARMA is using the brand new colored product range of Massa Ticino™ Sugarpaste to create unique and innovative cakes. A demonstration by world chocolate master chef Davide Malizia from Vivy is another highlight of the day. Davide showcases how to use food colorings to create fashionable chocolate show pieces.

"Our valuable partner chefs from Vivy, CARMA, Cacao Barry, Dawn and Elle & Vire allow us to present a range of exquisite desserts that are inspired by art pieces, including paintings, sculptures, photographs as well as architecture and fashion," said Sharon Lee, Vice President Asia, Gourmet Fine Foods, Business Unit Consumer Goods, DKSH Hong Kong. "The showcases today not only fulfill the local needs and requirements of creative professional pastry chefs and cake designers, but also providing an opportunity for them to share ideas. We are proud of hosting another Cafe DKSH event in Hong Kong," she added.
