Cavotec Improves the Air Quality for the Olympic Games

SHANGHAI, Aug. 5 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Cavotec MSL Holdings Limited (CCC), listed on the NZX Stock Exchange, has supplied all the Cable Coil Systems to the new terminal 3 in Beijing Capital Airport and the new Shanghai Pudong Airport terminal 2. In time for the Olympic Games Cavotec in Shanghai has equipped two of the most important airports in China with an advanced aboveground supply systems to efficiently supply power to parked aircraft without taking up a lot of space around it on the tarmac apron. Instead of using a pollutant diesel GPU (Ground Power Units) to generate power to the aircraft the Cable Coil will use clean electricity power.

During the last few years Cavotec in China has received orders from various customers and installation has been made at many airports, such as: Hong Kong Airport, Pudong Airport Terminal 1, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, Boeing, Airbus.
