SHENZHEN, China, July 6 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- A delegation led by Mr. Jameson Wu, Regional Sales Manager for China at NobelBiocare, the world's largest provider of dental implant solutions, recently paid a visit to Reborn Dental Implant Center, as part of an initiative to launch an All-on-4 full arch dental implant training program in China. The initiative is aimed at enabling more Chinese dentists to be equipped with necessary skills to help patients who are missing all natural teeth on upper and/or lower arches achieve their dreams of receiving full arch dental implants with one single treatment.

Statistics show that 75 million long-term denture wearers in China suffer from difficulty in mastication, tendency to drop off as well as an adverse effect on both digestion and talking. As a result, increasingly patients have chosen full arch dental implants in recent years. However, traditional full arch dental implants require placement of 12 to 16 implants for upper and lower arches as well as several treatments for swelling and pain relief. A number of patients with severe atrophy of edentulous jaws first need bone grafts before dental implants can be started. The time-consuming treatment process, which requires six to eighteen months, also discourages patients from receiving full arch dental implants.

Reborn Dental Implant Center in 2008 took the lead in launching the All-on-4 full arch dental implant solution, which allows eight implants for upper and lower arches at a single time and immediate installation of a full arch bridge, enabling the patient to enjoy food that same day.

Reborn Dental Implant Center's Dr. Xu Qinglong said the All-On-4 technology brings hope for patients with serious atrophy of edentulous jaws, as it avoids bone grafts which are time-consuming, expensive and painful. In combination with the NobelGuide minimally invasive surgical navigation, All-on-4 causes small amounts of hemorrhaging and little pain and swelling. It is popular among the elderly.

Mr. Jameson Wu, Regional Sales Manager for China at NobelBiocare, said that in the US and European countries, the All-on-4 full arch dental implant training courses to be held within a year have already been closed for registration. In China, however, many dentists aren't aware of the All-on-4 technology yet. NobelBiocare wishes to promote this technology in cooperation with Reborn Dental Implant Center.

As a teacher of NobelBiocare's dental implant training courses, Dr. Xu Qinglong looks forward to sharing his experiences with dentists, allowing more patients who are missing all their teeth to benefit from the advanced All-on-4 full arch dental implant technology.
