China Botanic Pharmaceutical Provides Update on Badger Oil Sales

HARBIN, China, April 19, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- China Botanic Pharmaceutical Inc. (NYSE AMEX: CBP) ("China Botanic" or the "Company"), a developer, manufacturer and distributor of botanical products, bio-pharmaceuticals and traditional Chinese medicines ("TCM") in China, today announced that the Company's Badger Oil, marketed by its wholly owned subsidiary, Harbin Renhuang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd ("Renhuang"), has achieved sales of RMB six million (Approximately USD 0.9 million) after only five months on the market.  


Badger Oil was launched in November 2010 after over a year of intensive market research and product development. Badger Oil is a new biopharmaceutical treatment to relieve pain and swelling and is effective in treating burns. Management estimates Badger Oil to generate approximately $2.3 million to $2.6 million in sales for the fiscal year 2011.
