DigiTimes claimed that smart phone sales in China have already reached 329 million in 2013, with TD-SCDMA smart phones accounting for 110 million units, a year-on-year increase of 155.8%. The sale of TD-SCDMA smart phones has reached 77 million, a 59.5% jump over last year. EDGE sold 75 million smart phones, up 27.1% from the year before. Under such circumstances, IDC predicted that it is possible that the shipment of China smart phones will reach 450 million.
