Possessing ISO3834 accreditation demonstrates that China Zhongwang's metal welding capability has reached the world standard and would be beneficial to expand the international sales of the Group's welding products.
The scope of the ISO3834 International Welding Fabricator Certification covers technology review, caliber of the designated welding personnel, applicability of production and test equipment, welding know-how and related activities such as specification of welding material details, base materials storage, post-welding heat treatment, welding testing and inspection, quality control, etc.
Adhering to the 'International Quality Control Manual of Welding' and the 'Reference Materials Focused on the International Certification of Welding Industry', China Zhongwang successfully obtained the ISO3834 certification in one go.
ISO3834 certification is a certification of international welding standard by the International Organization of Standardization. It includes the following parts: ISO3834-1 'Quality Requirements for Fusion Welding of Metallic Materials - Part 1: Criteria for the Selection of the Appropriate Level of Quality Requirements'; ISO3834-2 'Quality Requirements for Fusion Welding of Metallic Materials - Part 2: Comprehensive Quality Requirements'; and ISO3834-5 'Quality Requirements for Fusion Welding of Metallic Materials - Part 5: Documents with Which it is Necessary to Conform to Claim Conformity to the Quality Requirements of ISO3834-2, ISO3834-3 or ISO3834-4'.
According to the comprehensive quality requirements set out in ISO3834, which are applicable to welding workshops and related aspects of quality control of welding products, manufacture of rail vehicles / steel products are subject to relevant provisions of standards such as EN15085. Hence, ISO3834 certification internationalizes EN15085 (Europe railway application) certification. Obtaining ISO3834 certification extends welding area from large sections of rail vehicles such as skirt boards to entire areas of fusion welding of metallic materials, to ensure unimpeded access to the Europe and world market.
