After thorough investigation by the Bank, it has been confirmed that Citibank has no association with these calls. The Bank has reported these incidents to relevant regulatory bodies and the Police in order to protect the interests of customers and the public.
After such actions taken by the bank, similar calls have substantially decreased. However, as a cautionary measure, Citibank appeals to customers to protect one's personal data to prevent any unauthorized usage.
