(OTC Bulletin Board: DKDY) ("DDI") announces that it will cooperate with Shaanxi Travel Press in project Harmony Shaanxi Tour, a tour consisting of 30 scenic spots aiming to attract potential provincial visitors. After two phases the tour is expected to generate sales revenue of RMB 4,500,000 (or USD 591,000).
In order to develop and make full use of tourism resources in Shaanxi province, and to satisfy the ever-growing needs of local customers, Harmony Shaanxi Tour, the multi-destination tour package was approved by Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Bureau, and organized by Shaanxi Travel Press and E-Pang Palace. Its goal is to attract local customers and stimulate tourism. DDI's Theme Park, E-Pang Palace, is one of the tourist destinations among the package tour. The charm of E-Pang Palace is its distinctive Qin culture. Harmony Shaanxi Tour’s package is expected to increase the number of tourists. It is estimated that the first phase will bring DDI RMB 1,500,000 (or USD 197,000) in sales revenue, and the second phase bringing in RMB 3,000,000 (or USD 394,000).
There are three reasons why tourists would be attracted to the tour package. Firstly, the selected spots are rich in tourism resources and well-known. All of the 30 scenic spots contain both ancient historical sites while also combining modern amusement areas, with some of them also being national forest parks. These 30 scenic spots are all located in Shaanxi province and meet the demands of different kinds of tourists. Secondly, this event is mainly targeted to the lower income groups. A tour ticket values costs RMB 98 (or USD 13) which allows customers to visit 30 tourist attractions, which is very reasonable considering that it is only 10% of the total entrance value of the 30 tourist attractions, individually. Lastly, a sales network has been established everywhere around the province to accommodate demand. Shaanxi Tourism Press has its sales network across the province covering urban and county, it has in-depth understanding of the demands for tourism in these areas.
