SYDNEY, Aug. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Some of the fastest drivers on the planet return to the Coffs Coast for Coates Hire Rally Australia on 10-13 September.

The three-day rally demands extreme skill, endurance and bravery of crews and gives spectators a thrilling up-close experience far more visceral than circuit-based racing. The WRC is regarded as the most challenging series in international motorsport.

Millions of daily television viewers in more than 140 countries will track stars such as dual World Champion Sebastien Ogier of France, Brit Kris Meeke, New Zealand's Hayden Paddon and Ott Tanak of Estonia as they tackle more than 300 kms of competition stages to the north, south and west of the Coffs Harbour service headquarters.

Top Australian competitors also take part, with contenders including one of the world's leading female rally drivers, 27-year-old Molly Taylor of Sydney, and current Australian Champion Scott Pedder, who is contesting the WRC2 category in Europe and at home.

The Coffs Coast rally stages are some of the most beautiful and spectacular on the 13-country WRC circuit, a bonus for fans combining a holiday with their favourite sport. Spectators can see the stars and cars up-close from the Special Stage dedicated daily viewing points, at the city Service Park and at the official start and finish ceremonies.

A revised route for 2015 takes in more of the Nambucca region and gives spectators a chance to see the cars as they pause at one of the most iconic locations on the Australian map, the Pub with No Beer at Taylors Arm.

There's also a night stage early on Saturday evening to give fans a rare experience of traditional rally action.

The finale will be on the Wedding Bells stage in Bucca State Forest, a short drive north of Coffs Harbour. A large spectator point here with all facilities will provide a great view of cars as they tackle the WRC Power Stage, which not only can decide the rally result at the last moment, but also is televised live around the world directly from the forest.

Rally spectating is an exciting and easy experience for everyone and you don't need to be a knowledgeable enthusiast to have fun.
