BEIJING, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The Organizing Committee of the Second China Game Developers Conference (CGDC) hosted a welcome party on July 25 named "Soul of Dragon", which attracted hundreds of technology elites of the international game industry. It was held as a special party for CTOs and technical elites in the field of game development, covering relevant trades like animation and cartoons, outsourcing, IT and other businesses.

According to Mr. Tan Yunpeng, Marketing Director of the CGDC Organizing

Committee, the party was planned as one of the events for this year’s conference, and was designed to offer a relaxing occasion for top developers across the world so that they could have some fun and more time to talk with each other: "This party was held so that our guests could have some time to relax themselves; it was also a good opportunity for them to get to know each other better and talk in a less serious environment." Besides, the party, which was held in line with traditional customs in China, was also a welcome dinner from the host, who welcomed the opportunity to, on behalf of China’s game industry, greet guests from near and far.

At the party, game elites from around the world held active and in-depth discussions about technology trends in China’s game industry. Discussions and talks were held amid the Jazz, red wine and performances from bartenders, the latter of which particularly brought a romantic flavor to the conference. The party reached its climax when bartenders played dazzling

tricks to the light Jazz pieces.

During the party, Mr. Han Zhihai, Deputy Secretary-General of CGDC, noted that "guests here today are mostly COOs or CTOs of top game companies from around the world: they are always very busy and travel a lot so a party like this is extremely rare and precious for them. We hope that through CGDC, these technology elites who created so many fantastic games can relax for a while, meeting friends, having a talk and enjoy the good wine."

Guests indeed showed great enthusiasm towards the party: they would like to thank the Organizing Committee for hosting such an enjoyable and relaxing event in which they had a good talk with each other. Guests from overseas particularly noted that through such an activity they were better able to know and communicate with developers from China, all in a light and joyful way.

The "Soul of Dragon" Party didn’t end until ten o’clock at night and the hospitality and sincerity of China’s game industry will always remain with game developers from around the world.
