SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- GlobalLogic today announced that Zaheer Allam has joined the company as Chief Delivery Officer, reporting to CEO Shashank Samant. In his role, Allam will oversee GlobalLogic's engineering efforts worldwide. The company has been focused on building new engineering centers across the globe, most recently in Slovakia earlier this year.
Allam brings over 25 years of engineering experience, specializing in wireless telecommunications, surveillance, automotive, enterprise software and big data. As Chief Product Officer at Polaris Wireless, Allam built and managed engineering teams in India and deployment teams in Middle East and Africa to develop commercial carrier grade wireless location solutions and enterprise surveillance solutions. Prior to that, he founded and served as Vice President of Engineering at Azaire Networks, a leader in the fixed mobile convergence space. Allam has also held various technical management positions at startups and large global corporations like Ericsson, Ricoh, Ford Motor Company and Metricom.
