SHL re-structures management team for significant growth opportunities

HONG KONG, March 16, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- SHL, the global leader in talent measurement, is announcing the re-structure of three key roles on its Operating Committee. The changes come into immediate effect and will enable SHL to reinforce its global leadership, take advantage of significant growth opportunities in the uptake of talent assessments and drive forward its intense customer focus across the organisation.

Analyst firm Bersin cite this as a critical factor leading to the explosion of interest in talent assessments in their Strategic Human Resources and Talent Management: Predictions for 2012 report.  Reflecting this trend, SHL is seeing significant appetite for its assessments and talent measurement solutions across the globe, with demand for assessments growing nearly 70% between 2010 and 2011 in Asia, Africa and Middle East, more than 50% in the U.S. and 40% in Europe. 

SHL currently supports more than 10,000 customers and is present in 50 countries worldwide. To continue to take advantage of opportunities in growth markets, it has re-organised its leadership structure.

  • Mike Tims formerly Chief Customer Officer will become President, of Asia, Africa and the Middle East (AAME). Andy Bradshaw formerly Chief Sales Officer at SHL will become President, Europe and ANZ. Tims and Bradshaw will be spearheading the launch of the company's award-winning SHL Talent Analytics™ solution to its global customer base.
  • Robert Morgan becomes chief customer officer whilst retaining his chief marketing officer role emphasizing SHL's customer commitment across the organisation, strengthening customer experience through a coordinated global strategy.
  • In addition to the Operating Committee changes, Stuart Hedley, who joined SHL in 2006 and since the beginning of 2011 led the Professional Services team for Asia Pacific, is promoted to Managing Director of the Hong Kong business following his outstanding contribution to customer leadership and sales. Hedley has extensive experience in both HR and Learning & Organisational Development and will lead sales, consulting and operations for the region. He will ensure SHL continues to deliver a superior customer experience, adding value to their client base and supporting the launch of Talent Analytics TM to the local market.
