SHL re-structures management team for significant growth opportunities
HONG KONG, March 16, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- SHL, the global leader in talent measurement, is announcing the re-structure of three key roles on its Operating Committee. The changes come into immediate effect and will enable SHL to reinforce its global leadership, take advantage of significant growth opportunities in the uptake of talent assessments and drive forward its intense customer focus across the organisation.
Analyst firm Bersin cite this as a critical factor leading to the explosion of interest in talent assessments in their Strategic Human Resources and Talent Management: Predictions for 2012 report. Reflecting this trend, SHL is seeing significant appetite for its assessments and talent measurement solutions across the globe, with demand for assessments growing nearly 70% between 2010 and 2011 in Asia, Africa and Middle East, more than 50% in the U.S. and 40% in Europe.
SHL currently supports more than 10,000 customers and is present in 50 countries worldwide. To continue to take advantage of opportunities in growth markets, it has re-organised its leadership structure.
Commenting on his new territory responsibility, Tims says: "Most organisations recognise people are their most important asset, and in AAME region we have seen a growing demand for intelligence about their people to help businesses make better talent recruitment and development decisions. Over the last two years we have made significant investment in our operation to develop the market; we've grown our workforce by 40%, established local hosting of our systems in China and built a platform for continued investment and growth in 2012 and beyond."
Hedley explains how the latest innovation from SHL will impact Hong Kong: "SHL Talent Analytics™ elevates HR benchmarking to a whole new level and provides an unrivalled view of the workforce – enabling any company to pinpoint areas of strength, improvement, and competitive differentiation to provide genuine people intelligence that can inform business strategy." Stuart continues: "I am really excited for organisations in Hong Kong to realise the power of this application – for the first time, companies can benchmark their talent against the competition by industry, geography, and business function and level, providing insights that will enable true competitive advantage."
