NEW YORK and WEIFANG, China, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Gulf Resources, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GFRE) ("Gulf Resources" or the "Company"), a leading manufacturer of bromine, crude salt and specialty chemical products in China, today announced that Mr. Xiaobin Liu, the Company's Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Min Yang, the Company's Chairman of the Board, will attend the upcoming International Capital Conference (the "ICC") 2009 to be held on September 15-16, 2009 at Central Hall Westminster, London, Great Britain.

The ICC 2009 is hosted and organized by Cavendish Group International and the Boao Forum for Asia, and will attract over 200 Chinese delegates. The conference focuses on China's standing in the world economy in 2009, paying particular attention to banking regulation, trade and capital flows, the ever increasing number of Chinese companies that are becoming global corporations, and tools for growth available to Chinese companies going forward in a post-credit crunch environment. ICC is the premier business event for Western companies looking to do business with Chinese companies and Chinese companies looking to obtain advice on international expansion plans. Focusing on private equity, mergers & acquisitions and public listings, this event bridges the interests of Chinese companies looking to increase their international exposure with Western companies involved in or looking to move into the Chinese market. The leading Chinese CEOs and policy makers will make speeches during the conference.

"Only market leaders in their respective industries and companies that enjoy strong support by the Chinese government have been invited by the Boao Forum to this event, and I am honored that Gulf Resources is considered one of them. The ICC 2009 provides a good platform for our Company to increase international recognition, in addition to understanding changes in the economic climate, Chinese government policies, and how Western companies are turning east for growth," commented Mr. Liu. "Moreover, as this forum allows Western investors to increase their knowledge about Chinese companies and benefit from their fast growth, we hope to use this opportunity to attract a more international investor base. We also intend to meet with London-based investors after the conference."
