HONG KONG, March 26 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- At the Caring Company Recognition Ceremony on 25 March 2010, HL&C Employment Agency Ltd. was awarded the Caring Company Award for the third consecutive year from the HKCSS in recognition of our corporate citizenship and support for public welfare.
The Caring Company Scheme was launched by HKCSS and funded by the HKSAR Government. Over the years, it has gained widespread support from the local businesses and has become the platform of cooperation for the official, civil and business communities. The mission of this Scheme is to build a caring community spirit through the cultivation of corporate citizenship and strategic partnerships, as well as raising the public's awareness in today's modern society.
Since our foundation, HL&C has devoted much time and efforts on the public welfare and charity works. Within our organization, HL&C has continued to enhance our policies to care for our employees and their families as well as encouraging our staff to be involved in community activities and volunteer works. Despite the worldwide financial crisis in 2009, we remained positivistic to our future and continued to organize advance management training courses to our staff and trade seminars to our stakeholders. In addition, we increased our budget last year for charity aid in Hong Kong, Indonesia and the Philippines and participated in more community services, for we believe sharing at this critical moment were of top priority.
HL&C was founded in 1991 in Central, Shatin & Tai Po and specializes in the deployment of foreign or local domestic helpers. Since our foundation, HL&C has been insisting on the diversity of our business. In addition to the basic employment services, we have frequently provided professional local training and government advisory services. Since January 2008, HL&C has also acquired ISO9001:2000 and became the first employment agency in HK for such certification. In December 2009, HL&C has again received a Certificate of Merit from the HSBC Living Business Awards in recognition of our social responsibility and Green Service initiatives.
