Inspur International Limited ("Inspur International" or the "Group")

(SEHK: 596) today announced its interim results for the 6 months ended 30 June 2009 (the "Period").

Having been successfully transformed to an integrated IT services provider, Inspur International recorded a turnover of HK$839,759,000 (2008: HK$748,916,000) in the Period, representing a 12.1% year-on-year growth. Due to the change in sales mix and IT services yielded higher margin, the Gross profit soared to HK$227,341,000 (2008: HK$199,610,000), representing an increase of 13.9% as compared to the corresponding period last year. The gross margin jumped from 26.7% to 27.1%. Profit attributable to equity holders amounted to HK$163,354,000 (2008: HK$130,567,000), representing a robust growth of 25% as compared to the corresponding period last year.

In the field of telecom, since the launching of 3G this year, the three major telecom operators in the PRC are establishing a large-scale 3G network. Being one of the major service providers to telecom operators, Inspur International offered localized technology supporting services for the three operators in the PRC. Currently, the Group’s operation supporting system has presence in the market of China Mobile in 15 provinces, the market of China Unicom in 5 provinces and the market of China Telecom in a number of provinces."

At present, a total of 11 provincial and municipal taxation authorities have completed the tender of tax-collection cashier machines and the Group was chosen by 9 of them to enter into the final round of selection. The sale of tax-collection cashier machines has ranked first for 6 consecutive years and has outperformed its peers with a market share of over 25%. Looking ahead, leveraging our competitive edges in our major industries, the Group will endeavour to reallocate our internal and external resources for the industry and enterprise, expand the business scale and market share through joint venture, alliance and acquisition."
