Industry's First Motor Product Line to Address Low Weight and High Power

HONG KONG, April 8 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Johnson Electric today announced the addition of three new motors to its professional hairdryer product line. These new motors are engineered to increase the operating life of the AC product line by 50% and the DC product line by 100%. The new AC motors deliver more power and longer life in a higher power density package. The new DC product is the industry's only DC motor to deliver professional levels of torque, speed and long life in a lightweight package.

The professional hair dryer motor product line includes a range of products with speeds from 16,500 rpm to 18,500 rpm at rated operating life from 1,000 hours up to 2,000 hours. The highest performance AC motor in the series (U5615) also delivers a 25% increase in power. A revolutionary DC motor has been added to the product line to provide professional performance in a lightweight 115 gram package (QC3810). This motor performance level is achieved by an innovative magnetic circuit design and a unique mechanical structure utilizing precision components throughout.
