Jollyhome.com set to redefine the image of "Made in China"

HANGZHOU, China, April 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The launch of "Jollyhome.com," the online shopping mall for household goods in January 2013, is set to redefine the image of "Made in China" from the "cheap and junky" to the "good quality and reasonably priced."

In essence, Jollyhome.com furnishes a host of consumer needs, which includes categories like outdoor equipment, household gear, and kitchenware. And we have direct connections with local manufacturers who help to meet a full range of your customization needs while guarantying quality products as well as price competitiveness.

According to a JWT survey of 503 people from the U.K. and the U.S. conducted from 31st May 2012 to 4th June 2012 on consumers' impression on "Made in China" products, the prevalent answer to that impression is "mass production." More than 60 percent of the volunteers correlate the tag "Made in China" with the badge "mass production," about 55 percent found Chinese products "cheap," 45 percent deemed them "unsafe," 35 percent considered them "junky" and "unreliable," 33 percent thought they were "low-end," and a further 20 percent answered with "interesting." On the flip side, however, most hold positive impressions on imported commodities from Japan and America, while less than 10 percent of the surveyed said products made in either country were "cheap."

Although there are numerous successful international examples of the nation's "fair and cheap" commodities, many carrying the "Made in China" logo and taking up a minimal of 60 percent of shelf space in major countries and regions from the developed world in the West to the less-developed regions in Africa, combined with companies that specialized in e-commerce, we choose to be different. In a bid to create goods that are of "good quality and reasonably priced" for our consumers, we do not intend to take that well-beaten path, but rather to redefine that usual image of "Made in China" with the help of our framework "Jollyhome.com."
