SEOUL, South Korea, Nov. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- 'K-HOSPITAL HAIR 2017,' held by the Korean Hospital Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, was held for 3 days from September 27th to 29th at COEX Hall C, D and, E and the Grand Ballroom.
K-HOSPITAL FAIR, where 191 companies participated and around 22,000 visited last year, has been a representative B2B event of the hospital treatment industry field where buyers including the directors, doctors, nurses and purchasing officers participate.
Internal and external major image diagnosis & examination equipment companies including Samsung Medison, JW Medical and Toshiba Medical Systems as well as Philips Korea, GE Healthcare and Siemens Healthineers participated, and around 450 booths from over 200 companies in the hospital treatment industry such as operation, infection, facilities and rehabilitation participated and showed new products and techniques.
As it was an event held by the hospital association, during K-HOSPITAL FAIR, a joint session of the standing advisor and executive director of the Korean Hospital Association and regional hospital directors; the Korea Small and Medium Hospital Association Conference; the Korean Special Hospital Association extraordinary general meeting; the Korea Association of Geriatric Hospitals board of directors, the Korean Federation of Medical Foundation board of directors; the Korean Rehabilitation Hospital Association executive committee; and the seminar of Gyeonggi-do Hospital Association and Regional Hospital Conference were held simultaneously, making it a fair with the most directors of hospitals in Korea.
This year, with the expansion of the exhibition area and participation booths, the number of visitors skyrocketed.
Due to the participation hospital staff, this fair changed its days from 'Thursday, Friday and Saturday' to 'Wednesday, Thursday and Friday' to enhance B2B opportunities, and it encourage the expansion of a global network.
Executives of the Indonesia Hospital Association and the Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia participated and had time to visit Korean medical institutions.
In addition to them, many agencies of Mainland China, Taiwan and Russia participated.
At the KOTRA 'Healthcare Project Plaza 2017' held by the Korean Hospital Association in conjunction with KOTRA for 2 days from September 27th to 28th at COEX 3rd floor Hall D, 50 companies including 10 global project ordering organizations and 40 domestic companies participated and held a conference on hospital construction projects, health and medical treatment services, medical facilities and medical equipment.
The 'Foreign buyer one-on-one match making export conference' for domestic manufacturing companies with excellent technologies was held, and, through the global network of the Korean Hospital Association, directors and staff of hospitals in Indonesia, Malaysia and India where the market growth is high visited the fair and conducted purchase consultations.
