2014-03-28 08:30 2030

HONG KONG, March 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On 21 March 2014, LKK Health Products Group (LKKHPG) was honoured with "Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award" for three years in a row at the Award Presentation Ceremony organized by The Mirror.

Mr C.Y. Leung, the Chief Executive of Hong Kong SAR, attended the ceremony and said, "It is the third consecutive year that I have participated. Every year, I am very happy to find that the outstanding enterprises and entrepreneurs from different sectors in HK are active to shoulder the responsibility for the social community, their staff and the environment when they develop business." The event attracted about 400 government representatives, entrepreneurs, scholars and media practitioners to participate, and conferred awards on 47 enterprises and 6 individuals.

Since 2012, The Mirror has annually hosted the selection for "Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award" based on seven dimensions, including staff, environment, leadership, shareholder, community and others. It aims to promote CSR concepts and enhance the exchange of successful CSR practices among enterprises from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

LKKHPG has participated in the election since 2012, and claims the honour every year. It believes that CSR is the bound duty of a company, and fulfils such duty in terms of six aspects, that is, health, quality, employees, partners, environment and community. With "Infinitus" as its core brand, LKKHPG has four members including Infinitus (China) Company Ltd., Infinitus (Hong Kong) Company Ltd., Infinitus International Company Ltd., and Infinitus International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

Mr. Harry Yeung, Senior Vice President of LKKHPG and spokesperson of Infinitus, attended the ceremony and claimed the award on behalf of LKKHPG. He said, "We are very grateful to The Mirror for recognition of our CSR practices for three years in a row. A company cannot continue to grow without taking responsibility. Upholding the core value of 'Si Li Ji Ren", which means 'the interest of all of us should be considered before taking any action', LKKHPG constantly makes creative moves in fulfilling the six aspects of CSR for business continuity and the realization of healthy lives featured with 'Tri-balance', 'Tri-affluence' and 'Tri- harmony'.'

LKKHPG has formed the new theory summarizing its long-term CSR practices, and proposed that, for business prosperity and continuity, a company should design and carry out its CSR initiatives from an ecological perspective instead of its own perspective. Such new angle became a focal point of the company's business strategy and boosted up the company's confidence.

It is believed that if a company can leverage its unique strengths to give back to the society, this will not only foster the society to progress with less cost, but also help materialize the company's value. Therefore, with its unique health philosophy, LKKHPG sets health as the key aspect to fulfil its CSR along with the other five aspects. Apart from organizing Infinitus World Walking Day for four consecutive years, LKKHPG also formulated simple yet feasible practice guidance on exercise, diet, living and mind-set, the "four kinds of regulations" it proposed as part of its unique healthy philosophy. In 2013, LKKHPG promoted such guidance among its staff and business partners for the sake of "promoting healthy life through life nurturing and vitality assurance".

Meanwhile, LKKHPG also values the development of the community. Relying on its "Si Li Ji Ren Foundation", LKKHPG carried out a series of programs in 2013 to provide support to the poor districts and the social vulnerable groups. A case in point is the "Si Li Ji Ren Education Dream Support Program", which supported the teenagers from poor families in the earthquake-stricken area of Ya'an with qualified study performances to fulfil their study dreams. Not only studying professional nursing skills, but also receiving education concerning traditional Chinese philosophy, such as "Si Li Ji Ren", and health concepts, the students are expected to develop in a comprehensive way. LKKHPG's corporate members in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia also organized a variety of charity activities in 2013 to give back to the society.
