JAKARTA, Indonesia, Feb. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- According to the Indonesian Packaging Federation (FPI) the pharmaceutical industry is of overwhelming importance for Indonesia's packaging market, second only to the food and beverage industry. Noting the sheer size of this sector, hi-quality, sophisticated packaging is increasingly needed in the region in the fight against counterfeited pharma products. Indeed the WHO estimates that counterfeit drugs are currently worth over $75 billion in global trade and criminals are becoming more and more competent in packaging their products.
