SHANGHAI, China, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Praxair China hosted a safety training event, Safety Day, at Li Long Primary School in Wenyuan County of Guangdong province.

Li Long Primary School is located in a mountainous region between the provincial highway No. 341, used by many large vehicles, and Wenjiang River. Local school children and residents needed better information about how to protect themselves in this potentially hazardous situation. .
Praxair's Social Club in South China, a voluntary employee organization, arranged a whole day program for Li Long Primary School. The event included safety sessions on traffic, swimming and fire control as well as interactive games with various prizes such as stationary, sports goods and safety apparel/accessories for both the students and teachers.
The Praxair China employees' program received great appreciation and warm feedback from the school. The children shared the safety information with their family members after the event, and the teachers delivered a thank you letter to the Social Club of Praxair China in Guangzhou.
