QLOOG Announces Partnership with Schmooze Com, Release of Japanese FreePBX Code

QLOOG, Inc. announced on March 3 that the company has partnered with US unified communications specialist Schmooze Com, Inc. as the first and only authorized reseller of Schmooze products and services in Japan.

QLOOG also unveiled the release of its full Japanese translation of the world-famous FreePBX open source communications software.

FreePBX boasts over one million installations worldwide, and is developed and maintained by Schmooze Com and a global community of contributors. QLOOG noted that its service offerings will include the world's first commercial FreePBX support to be offered in both Japanese and English from March 1.

To further strengthen the competitiveness of open communications in Japan, QLOOG also announced that development was underway for "FoNEX", a Japan-centric IP-PBX platform featuring the proven open-source code base of FreePBX combined with additional commercial features tailored to Japanese business customers. FoNEX will feature full integration with QLOOG's own existing call center management and predictive dialing software solutions.
