RICS Hong Kong Announces the Appointment of New Chairman


HONG KONG, Nov. 27 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) today announces that Mr David Faulkner is elected as Chairman of its Hong Kong Board for one year term of office with immediate effect.

Mr Faulkner is a Regional Director of Colliers International (Hong Kong) Limited. He has over 28 years of experience in the real estate field and has worked in Hong Kong for over 25 years. He is an experienced professional, responsible for all the firm's valuation and professional services departments in the Asian region. He has advised on a variety of major projects in HK, China and elsewhere in the Asia Pacific region including valuations, feasibility studies and development consultancy. He covers all the major sectors including residential, commercial, retail, industrial, hospitality and leisure.

He is also a member of the RICS Asia Board and is the Valuation Professional Group Board representative for Asia and the Middle East.
