SEOUL, South Korea, Nov 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA) announced that the Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF) 2016 will be held at the Coex (Hall A) in Seoul, South Korea, from 1st to the 4th December.
SIIF is one of the world's largest international invention fairs. World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) are officially sponsoring this event.
SIIF 2016 will display a total of 639 pieces of inventions from 31 participating countries like the USA, Germany, including 176 inventions from 120 local (South Korean) companies. Together with the main exhibition, there will be the International Invention & Business Pavilion which will showcase 20 types of inventions from foreigners living in South Korea who wish to attain local patent rights or open up their own business.
The participants of SIIF will encounter various opportunities from entering into the open market, technology transfer, access to crowdfunding or business meetings for purchase or investment.
