New hotel is slated to open in 2017 and will be group's 12th in Yangtze River Delta
HONG KONG, Sept. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has signed a management agreement with Zhejiang Yinan Group Co. Ltd. to operate a 336-room hotel opening in Shaoxing, China in 2017.
Shangri-La Hotel, Shaoxing will be located close to the National Urban Wetland Park, near the city's new business district. It will be Shaoxing's first international luxury hotel and will be conveniently located near the city's culture centre, science and technology centre, financial centre and sport centre, all of which are also under construction in Jinghu.

Shangri-La Hotel, Shaoxing will feature luxurious and spacious accommodations, a variety of restaurants, a health club with a 25-metre indoor pool and spa facilities, and a selection of meeting rooms, including a 1,600-square-metre grand ballroom.
Shaoxing is in the northeastern Zhejiang province, with Ningbo to the east and Hangzhou to west. The hotel is a 40-minute drive from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport.
