Sino-Global Announces Annual General Meeting of Shareholders

BEIJING, Jan. 19 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Sino-Global Shipping America, Ltd. (Nasdaq: SINO) ("Sino-Global" or the "Company"), a leading, non-state-owned provider of shipping agency services operating primarily in China, announced today that it will hold its 2010 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (the "meeting") on February 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time. The meeting will be held at the Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel, 135-20 39th Avenue, Flushing, New York 11354 USA. A proxy statement and copy of the Company's annual report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009 have been distributed to Sino-Global shareholders of record as of January 12, 2010 and filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Matters to be voted upon at the meeting include:

1. The election of two Class III members of the board of directors, each

to serve a term expiring at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders in 2013

or until his successor is duly elected and qualified;

2. The ratification of the appointment of Friedman LLP as the Company's

independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year

ending June 30, 2010; and

3. Such other business properly coming before the meeting.

The foregoing items of business are more fully described in the proxy statement. At the meeting, Sino-Global management will also report on the Company's performance and operations during the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009 and respond to shareholder questions. Shareholders of record at the close of business on January 12, 2010 are entitled to notice of and to vote at the annual meeting and any adjournment thereof.
