Tizen Association Rolls Into Tizen Developer Summit Shanghai With Over 100 Partners

SHANGHAI, Oct. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Tizen Association announced today that 16 new partners have joined the organization, furthering the growth of Tizen-powered applications and services and the ecosystem supporting the emerging OS of everything, Tizen. Launched in November 2013, the Tizen Association Partner Program now has over 100 members, highlighting the open source operating system's growing momentum on the eve of the second Tizen Developer Summit in Shanghai.

This technical conference is Tizen's first in China, reflecting the enormous opportunity to deliver breakthrough interconnected devices to the world's largest market. The conference will deliver developer-focused content spanning wearables, the Internet of Things, consumer electronics, automotive, and general application and platform development. Conference sessions will be led by Tizen Technical Steering Group members Intel and Samsung, and will also include leading Chinese companies such as Alibaba, Baidu and Tencent. Tizen Developer Summit Shanghai also will play host to DevLab, featuring deep dives into the latest Tizen wearable SDK and live coding for wearable app development.
