BEIJING, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- VisionChina Media Inc. ("VisionChina" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: VISN), one of China's largest out-of-home digital television advertising networks on mass transportation systems, today announced the appointment of Mrs. Helen Plummer as investor relations officer, effective immediately. Mrs. Plummer will oversee daily investor relations and communications functions and report directly to chief financial officer, Ms. Dina Liu.

Mrs. Plummer joins VisionChina Media from Ogilvy Financial, Beijing, where she was associate director of the Investor Relations department. At Ogilvy, Mrs. Plummer managed a team of investor relations professionals while providing strategic counsel surrounding initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial communications programs for several large, mid, and small cap U.S.-listed Chinese companies. Prior to Ogilvy, Mrs. Plummer was a trust officer with PGB Trusts & Investments, in Peapack, NJ. At PGB, she was responsible for the trust administration and portfolio management needs of a large group of high net worth clients with assets totaling over US$100 million. Mrs. Plummer holds a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies and Chinese Language from Middlebury College in Vermont, USA and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago, USA. She speaks fluent Mandarin and has lived in Beijing for eight of the past 12 years.
