WAN-IFRA Launches 2016 Edition of Asian Digital Media Awards and Conference

The World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) is launching the 7th edition of its Asian Digital Media Awards, the most prestigious digital competition for publishers in Asia. The Awards will be presented at WAN-IFRA's Digital Media Asia conference on 9 November in Singapore.

SINGAPORE, May 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Asian Digital Media Awards 2016, jointly presented by WAN-IFRA and Google, recognise publishers who have adopted digital media and mobile strategies as part of their product offering to meet the major changes in how people consume news and information.

Started in 2010, the Asian Digital Media Awards are the leading recognition in Asia of outstanding work in the fields of online video, data visualisation, digital advertising campaigns, mobile services, websites, tablet publishing, new products, and reader engagement.

Digital Media Asia Conference

The winners of the 7th Asian Digital Media Awards will be presented at Digital Media Asia (DMA) in Singapore on 9 November. Launched in 2009, DMA has evolved into the largest digital media event dedicated to the publishing industry in Asia. The event offers three focussed days of conference and master classes and a tech expo.

Media experts and executives from Asia and all over the world will discuss the issues that are currently reshaping the digital media business.
