HONG KONG, Aug. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Cedrus Investments ("Cedrus"), a global boutique investment firm, is pleased to announce that Ms. Wenjia Liang has joined the company as Senior Legal Counsel.
Ms. Liang is qualified to practice PRC laws with legal working experience globally. She has worked in leading domestic and international law firms for more than 7 years. She obtained her LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from East China University of Political Science and Law, and LLM (Master of Laws) from University of Paris I (Patheon -- Sorbonne).
Prior to joining Cedrus, Wenjia was Senior Associate at Jingtian & Gongcheng Attorneys-at-Law Shanghai office, one of the first-tier law firms in China. Before that, she worked at Paris office of Jeantet Associes and Shanghai office of Leaven Associates.
Wenjia specializes in securities law and capital markets, cross-border M&A, foreign direct investments and general corporate matters. In the capital markets area, Wenjia has represented issuers based in Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland China in their initial public offerings and international bond and equity transactions, covering a wide range of industry sectors, including high-tech, manufacturing, real estate, food and beverage, as well as retail. Wenjia also has been acting as international or PRC legal counsel in several cross-border M&A projects in the PRC. She is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English and French.
