JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai Introduces Its “Nian Gao” Box Set Designed for Upcoming Chinese New Year

SHANGHAI, Dec. 13, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Celebrate Chinese New Year with traditional home-made “Nian Gao” from the JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai (www.jwmarriottshanghai.cn). Choose the beautifully designed “Nian Gao” box set (RMB 228), which comes in a set of two fishes symbolizing long life and good fortune, for family or business celebrations.

For this year’s design, the hotel painted the Nian Gao box with a stunning plum blossom pattern on the wooden texture, which represents a noble personality and happiness wish. The Nian Gao box is a work of art itself and can be used versatile. The two fish puddings inside are made from red bean and coconut.

Nian Gao vouchers can be purchased from Dec 20th, 2010 to January 31st, 2011 between 6am and 10pm at the 360 Gourmet Shop located on the ground floor lobby of Marriott Executive Apartments, next to the entrance of JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai. Orders can be collected from January 1st.
