AmCham Hong Kong to Reinstate Annual China Conference on May 18

HONG KONG, May 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong will reinstate its annual China Conference this year at the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong on May 18.

Mr. James Sun, Chairman of AmCham HK, says that "Hong Kong has served for decades as a major springboard for investors entering mainland China markets, and now Hong Kong has also become a springboard for Chinese companies wanting to go international."This is in line with the Central Government policy that urges companies to 'go global' and build internationally recognized Chinese brands. Because the success of Hong Kong's services in facilitating going into or out of mainland China is highly linked to the pace and comprehensiveness of mainland China's economic reform, AmCham has reinstated its annual China Conference. This year the conference will focus on Hong Kong's role in China's 12th Five-Year Plan, both to provide practical insights and assessments for business development in mainland China, as well as to highlight the business opportunities that come from assisting Chinese companies to expand overseas.

The Chamber is honored and pleased to have 28 insightful, experienced, and talented speakers and panelists sharing their experience and thoughts in a highly interactively setting.
