The organisers are expecting more than 55,000 visitors coming through the doors to delve into the comprehensive showcase of innovative products in all areas of cosmetics and personal care, spa and wellness, packaging and contract manufacturing, together with professional hair and, for the first time, a new sector dedicated to "Nail & Accessories" brings together 128 brands and companies to display the latest in nail art, decorative techniques, nail products and tools.

The international flavor has been stressed with 22 national and group pavilions, which include the largest-ever Korean pavilion -- a collection of 190 companies in skincare, make-up, nail, personal care, formulation and packaging solutions. Leading cosmetics manufacturing countries such as France and Italy have also expanded their group size registering the highest number of exhibiting companies. At the same time, the large Asian participants -- mainland China, Korea and Taiwan region -- are prominently represented, confirming the fair's indisputable stature as the leading B2B beauty event and the best sourcing platform in Asia.

INTERNATIONAL NAIL DAYS

The new sector Nail & Accessories is enlivened by the "International Nail Days", a 3-day programme designed to connect nail professionals to foster exchange and networking. At the same day, the top 10 most-liked winners of the "Like my Nails" facebook contest will be invited onstage to display their creations and receive their award. The International Nail Days will reach a crescendo with the prestigious "Hong Kong Professional Nailist Union Competition 2013" organised by the Hong Kong Professional Nailist Union.

INTERNATIONAL BUYER PROGRAMME

More than 150 one-to-one networking meetings are scheduled to take place during the fair between international buyers and suppliers through the International Buyer Programme.
