Another Media Resources Secured in Zhuhai Special Economic Zone This Year
Actively Tap New Opportunities in the Prosperous Greater Bay Area

HONG KONG, Sept. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Asiaray Media Group Limited ("Asiaray" or the "Group"; stock code: 1993), a leading out-of-home ("OOH") media company with a strategic focus on airport and metro line advertising, has announced that Shanghai Asiaray Advertising Company Limited ("Shanghai Asiaray"), its wholly-owned subsidiary, has obtained the exclusive concession rights to operate the media resources on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. The rights cover all media resources on the artificial island in Zhuhai on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and access to all travellers in and out of Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macau via the bridge. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is one of the key investments which is vital to the overall development of the Greater Bay Area, the national strategic initiative, particularly the closer connection with Hong Kong and Macau. The bridge will link Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macau and is expected to facilitate the rapid growth of the economy of Zhuhai.

Mr. Vincent Lam, Chairman and Executive Director of Asiaray, said, "Asiaray is a company deeply rooted in Hong Kong. We are honoured to be awarded the exclusive rights to operate media resources of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge after securing the Zhuhai Airport project this year. These rights enable us to leverage our strengths to participate in this national strategic project to further extend our media resources reach in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Within the Greater Bay Area, Zhuhai is one of the few special economic zones still boasting huge potential for development in South China. In particular, its prime geographical advantage has made it the sole transportation hub connecting the Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macau economic zones. In fact, the booming development of Zhuhai is already well underway. In the past year, the passenger traffic flow of Zhuhai Airport alone had increased by 50%. Hence, the Zhuhai Airport and this national project have better positioned the Group to capture the burgeoning opportunities in the area. We will take advantage of our proven 'Space Management' model to create advertising with impact, which are vividly presented to inbound and outbound visitors and enhancing the media exposure of our advertisers, ultimately achieving a win-win outcome among all parties."

Deemed as one of the "Seven Wonders of the Modern World", the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge scheduled for opening in the fourth quarter of this year will be the only land transportation thoroughfare directly connecting Hong Kong, Macau and Zhuhai. The total length from the Zhuhai and Macau border crossing facilities to the Hong Kong border crossing facilities is about 41.6 kilometers, creating a "30-minute economic circle" that links Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau closer together. Zhuhai, one of the border crossing facilities of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, is an important hub connecting Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau. Further facilitated by the establishment of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Economic Zone, Zhuhai is set to support closer cooperation between Hong Kong and Macau. The completion of the new boundary crossing facilities will also increase the flexibility of labor and freight mobility and enhance economic connections among the three places, thereby promoting growth in capital, utilization of talent, and market and trade development, thereby presenting huge business opportunities to Asiaray.
